NIILM CMS PLACEMENT OFFICERS

***** sehgal
The college plays dirty politics with the placements. We have someone named as sehgal who calls himself FMS alumni. Well i would have believed you, but not after what you do. he is the placement officer who sends marketing people for finance openings and vice versa. I don’t expect FMS alumni to do that. It also came to news that he offers bribe to company officials to fulfil his own needs. The I***I company which came last year to him with a package of 4 lakhs with a requirement of 10 but he got them to strike a deal of 2 lakhs for 20 intake and fire them after 3 months. You can check with the super seniors and you will get to know the reality.
Every year during summers this guy goes on to a foreign tour. I now know how you afford these tours and travels.
He sends MBA graduates to the companies where minimum qualification to get the job is 10 th or +2. He does this so as to get the students placed at a low cost in great numbers. This kind of job comes at a package of less than 2 lakhs per anuum and most of the students here get placed in jobs like these.
Now the reason why he does that is quite simple. Every placement officer gets paid 15- 20 thousand per student when he successfully places the students at a company. The competition among different placement officers and other factors like meeting their own targets, making more money etc have them play with the life of students.
I am not sure how many of us are aware of this fact that this institution takes 2.5 lakhs per student as the placement fees. Looking at the number of students who remain unplaced and those who are placed below 2 lakhs could make anyone sick. This is completely a lose lose situation for students.

M***u verma
This is a mind blowing case. This placement officer according to administration is the backbone of NIILM. She joined this organisation last year. She verbally started boasting her school of education and every degree that she apparently didn’t hold. She claimed that she had completed her graduation from k***s college Canada and that she was with Barclays bank for around 10 years since then at an annual package of 60 lakhs per annum(INR). The only reason she came here was to help the students and serve her country. I know you are flattened by this. I hope if I could hold you with this charismatic feeling but i can’t. All this are not true not even a bit of it. This lady has a not so good past career. She happened to be the placement officer at few of the institutes among which A***** institute was the one. Students and institution had filed a case against this so called personality.
She gets the company with an inflated salary and also forges a company for student’s placements. It’s only when you personally visit the place you come to know what exactly the mess is about. In some cases you need to wait for the interview and talk to the HR dept and in some cases not until you get the job. Some students who believed joined the organisation to only figure out that instead of 5 lakhs they are paying 1.5 lakhs per anuum.
Our seniors have even forwarded a written complained regarding this to the college president about the above incidents but nothing seem to work in the favour of the students. this is what a student is destined to get here.
All this is known to the administration head of this institution anoop sareen but he is not taking any action as she happened to be one of her relatives. It was the very reason she got the job as placement officer. Nothing can be expected from the president and director as they are just puppets in the hands of administration head who in turn is a close relative of vinay rai who owns this b school and 50 other bschools like this across the nation.
Please check for yourself all the companies that this lady has got as well as their salary package.

This is just a part of the harassment that goes here in this so called bschool. We waste our money to get treatment like this. I’ m not sure about anyone else but for me i never ever wanted myself in this place. Maybe someone who comes from a big family and money could afford adventure like this but not me.
